I post a link to a story on this a few weeks ago: South Koreans visit their own killing fields.
At this time of growing engagement between North and South Korea it is so good to see the truth coming out. Hopefully it will allow both parties to come open and desiring to put all of the past behind them.
The article is so moving:
Shortly after the outbreak of the Korean War in June 1950, Kim Man-sik, a military police sergeant, received an urgent radio message from the South Korean Army’s Counterintelligence Corps: Go to local police stations, take custody of scores of Communist suspects held there and execute them.
