Our approach to intercultural relations, peacemaking and reconciliation has been shaped by the people, the places and the projects we have been involved in these past years, our work in Luton and China today, and things friends are doing. (We don't always agree with everything they do, but we stay friends and keep talking because we think that is important and will lead to increased understanding.)

China Reconciliation Initiative. We are spending a large part of our time and energy learning new ways of thinking about and relating to China, in the light of Britain and the west's wrongdoing there. We are starting to lead others into that.
More on what we are doing here.

Multicultural Luton. We are seeking to live out and work out our beliefs and ideas in our very multicultural home town and in the church of which we are a part.

We have some ongoing involvement with some of these projects in the Uk and around the world:
The Lifeline Expedition. Apologising for slavery and the slave trade, and dealing with its impact around the North Atlantic world.
The Reconciliation Walk: The Journey Continued. Apologising for the Crusades in the Middle East, and forging new approaches to Muslim-Christian relations today.
Thinking about Britain - India relations, past and present. Looking at relations between Britain and India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the light of history.
The Amazon. Seeking a future and hope for the Amazon Indians.
