There is a lot more to come here - this is transferred from an earlier website we built, and gives the heart of some of what we think about what we do.
Our website here is called Reconciliation Talk. However we do not just talk reconciliation ,we have to do it. And we don't just talk and do, we want to know why we do what we do! Hence this section.
Its important we say here that we are doing what we are doing because we are Christians. We believe that this is the way Jesus would have us live. We explain a bit of that in about ReconciliationTalk.com .
This website is run by Christians but it is not just for Christians - it is or Christians and for people who follow other ways. We want it to be a place where Christians can think about what it means to follow the one who was called the Prince of Peace, but also where they can hear people of other persuasions. And we want it to be a place where people of other faith traditions can be at ease in hearing a different approach to that which they normally associate with Christians.
Sadly, the fact that we are Christians doesn't make the way we approach things what will go through most peoples minds. So this tells you a little more about the spirit of ReconciliationTalk.com . Note, we are using the voice of another faith to call Christians and others to consider the way we live together and talk together.
